Bradford are off to the Checkatrade.com Stadium on Saturday afternoon as we look to make an instant reaction to the defeat last Sunday.

Crawley will be another tough game, and isn’t the one to be looking to bounce back from a defeat against, but this is what the Bantams are aiming for.

Rory McArdle (international duty) is back in contention and I’d be surprised if he isn’t straight back into the starting XI.

We’ll have to do without Nahki Wells (ankle) though, and he’s still a few weeks away from fitness and Andrew Davies (knee) will be out long-term.

Phil Parkinson knows that he goes into this with some injury concerns to content with but knows it’s important to keep people involved, as long as this is what they want.

He told BBC Radio Leeds: ‘We’ll keep Andrew (Davies) involved as much as we can. He’s had injuries before in his career and it can be a lonely place.

‘Matthew Bates is a very good player and he’s been fit for a while now. He’s versatile and that’s good for us.

‘Ricky Ravenhill has got concerns about his contract being up and he’s worried if he doesn’t get games this season he might struggle to find a club. Once someone’s mind is thinking towards that, then it probably is best they do go.’

The defeat at Tranmere last weekend was a real disappointment and, if we’re honest (as much as you can’t expect anything as such) not what we would have thought would have happened.

I don’t think we’ll win but I think we’ll bounce back with a point.
