Former Bradford forward Benito Carbone is back in England, not quite fulfilling his dream but moving a step closer.

Last year the former Bantams man admitted that it would be a ‘dream come true’ to manage in this country, telling BBC Radio Leeds: ‘I hope to come back to England because coming there was the best thing that happened in my career.

‘I think I could do well there. It is my dream to come back there.’

The 41-year-old will manage of a sort but this isn’t going to be as a first-team manager yet with him working as the ‘football and technical operations with the both the first team and the academy side’ at Leeds United.

Formerly the boss at Italian fourth tier outfit Saint Christophe Valle D’Aosta he has moved that step closer.

Maybe one day Carbone could return to Valley Parade as the Bradford boss?
