Phil Parkinson travelled back to Yorkshire thinking how different the result could have been.

4 or 5 of the Bradford players went close a number of times the ones that spring to mind the efforts from Wells and Jones, they were others too.

The penalty that was turned away which I feel should have been awarded for the foul on Hanson. Also the Hanson goal ruled out for offside must have been very close.

I agree with all the above but I feel our finishing needs to improve as many chances were wasted. Many fans would like to see Parkinson bring a proven goal scorer to the club within the transfer window. Who would you like to see? Comments below please.

Parkinson stated to the Offical Site:
‘It has been a highly frustrating day for us. We’ve dominated the game from start to finish.’

‘We’ve had twenty or so attempts on goal but we haven’t scored.

‘I can’t fault the lads’ effort throughout the game. The way they applied themselves and focused on this game and not Tuesday (Capital One Cup Semi-Final with Aston Villa) was commendable, but for all of our dominance, we have to make the ‘keeper work more.
‘We just lacked that bit of calmness in front of goal today.
‘It was just like we were destined not to score today.
‘The ball has been in and around there box plenty of times throughout the second half, it just wouldn’t go in for us. When we did get one in, it was called offside.
‘Overall, I have no complaints with the effort of the lads, it’s just when you have the amount of possession we had today, you have to look to score goals.’
