Bradford have added Lachlan Barr and Joel Grodowski to the squad – confirming deals for the pair on Friday.

The Official Website said: ‘The pair are expected to make up part of the Club’s development squad.’

Barr is familiar with Bradford having trained with the club last season. Previously the Australian-born central defender, 22, has played for Adelaide United and was most recently contracted to FC Internationale Berlin.

He has signed a short-term deal through until January.

German forward Grodowski, 19, had a phenomenal goalscoring record at PSV Bork when he scored 94 goals in two seasons. Admittedly that was in the ‘German regional league.’

Those goals saw him join German Giants Borussia Dortmund, well, actually Borussia Dortmund II, their second team.

Grodowski, who all will hope can prove a goalscoring success at Valley Parade, has joined Bradford on a one year deal.
