Bantams Bounce Back

Bradford City Travelled back for Wycombe last night with a very valuable 3 points added to our points total, following a 3-0 away win.

We took an early lead when some good work down the right, the ball came to Nathan Doyle in the box who drilled a half-valley past wanderers keep Joe Archer to give the Capital One Cup finalists the dream start.

We controlled the first half as out midfield dynamo Gary Jones ran the show, Wycombe simply could not live with the all round game of Jones. Wycombe had chances but the back four remained firm with the presence of the returning Andrew Davies. We went in 1 – 0 up at the break.

Wycombe created chances in the second half as they looked to get back in the game, the presence of Jones kept any Wanderers attacks to a minimum.

Will Atkinson put the Bantams in full control firing home from twelve yards having been played in by sub James Hanson. Hanson would then earn a penalty, Nathan Doyle stepped up to send Archer the wrong way as he tucked the penalty into the bottom left-hand corner and it wrapped up all three points for the Bantams.

Great performance from the boys on the road, I hope this is a point which will see us go on a great run!
