Bradford came from behind, with almost certain defeat and exit from the League Cup on, to beat Burton after extra time to book a place in round four of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night.

With 30-minutes on the clock Burton had one foot in round four with goals from Billy Kee (18) and Aaron Webster (29) putting them in the ascendency, the scoreline remaining nil-two at the break.

Bradford couldn’t force way through until the final ten-minutes when Nahki Wells (83) gave them hope, and it was Wells (90) again in the last minute that forced a dramatic equaliser and sent the game into extra time with it tied at two-two.

The first half of extra time passed without any change to the scoreline, so with time running out in the second a penalty shootout seemed highly likely.

This was until Stephen Darby (115) produced a winner for The Bantams five-minutes from time to complete the comeback with a 3-2 win!
