Bradford’s run without a win was extended to five as a lead was lost with a home defeat against struggling Doncaster Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

Going into half time a turnaround if form was on but a second half comeback saw Doncaster go away from Valley Parade with a 2-1 win.

The first half was looking like being goalless after Doncaster’s Manchester United loanee ‘keeper saved well from both Billy Knott and Alan Sheehan in the closing minute of the half.

Finally the breakthrough came in injury-time when Huddersfield loanee Jon Stead (45) broke through in the fourth-minute of injury-time to send us in one-up. Knott and Mark Yeates combined with Stead scoring his first goal since returning on loan.

On the hour Doncaster were level though when Liam Wakefield crossed to Reece Wabara (59) who forced the ball over the line to equalise for the visitors.

A little past the midway point of the second half Doncaster then won the game.

Curtis Main (69) was put through and he made no mistake as he fired into the top corner to give them a two-one win.
