Let’s take a look at some ex Bantams throughout the divisions and see how they’re fairing starting with a player that seems to be on the scoreboard without fail these days.

Louis Moult barely misses out getting a mention nowadays. A 2nd half brace helped Motherwell come back from 2-0 down to draw the game 2-2 away to Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League. Just 1 more round between Avenue and the first round proper of the FA Cup.

Simon Francis making his first home game of the season helped Bournemouth to their first win of 2017/18 as the Cherries won 2-1 against Brighton and Hove Albion. The win keeps them in the bottom 2 in the Premiership, but as things stand, only 1 point off 15th place.

Danny Forrest, manager of Silsden has now made it 9 consecutive wins in 2017/18 maintaining their 100% start the latest a 5-2 win over Cheadle Town at home. Sitting pretty in first in the Hallmark Security league division 1 with 8 wins from 8 games, amazingly scored 20 and conceded 5. The result has set a new record of biggest home win and highest scoring game with 7.

Zavon Hines has made it 4 goals in his last 3 games now, his latest, a brace as Maidstone United beat Macclesfield away 1-4. This result has lifted the Stones to 7th in the National League giving them hope of a promotion push come May.

Scott Brown scored his first goal of the season as Peterhead beat Cowdenbeath 0-4 away in the Scottish League 2. The Blue Toon find themselves 3rd in the table at this early stage.

Lee Holmes has helped early league 2 pace setters Exeter City to 6 consecutive league wins in a row, their latest, a 3-0 home win against Crewe. The Grecians find themselves top of the pile with a 3 point cushion on 22 points.

Kevin Ellison got a brace on 34 and 80 minutes to give Morecambe a tight 2-1 win over Michael Flynn’s Newport County. Ellison has now scored 4 times in his last 4 games with this latest result lifting the Shrimps to 16th in League 2 and dropping Newport to 9th in the table. Garry Thompson played for the Shrimps, but Matt Dolan found himself on the losing team.

Mark Stewart came off the bench midway in the game and scored a late equaliser as Dumbarton earned a late win beating Brechin 2-1 at home in the Scottish Championship lifting the Sons to 7th. Stewart’s 2nd goal of the season was his first league goal since October last year.

Stephen Warnock scored his first goal in over 3 years to set up Burton Albion for a 2-1 home win against Fulham, their 2nd in the league of the season. This lifts Albion to 19th in the Championship.

Phil Parkinson is still seeking his first league win for Bolton in the Championship, the latest result a 2-0 loss away to Ipswich Town which is their 5th straight loss in the league. Reece Burke, Josh Cullen, Filipe Morais and 2nd half sub Aaron Wilbraham failed to change things around. Bolton have 2 points from 8 games, 4 from safety and sit uncomfortably in 24th in the Championship.

Jon McLaughlin conceded his first goal as Hearts keeper in only his 2nd game as he helped win the game 1-2 away to Hamilton in the Scottish Premier League, the result lifting the Jambos to 7th in the table.

Brad Jones has had a very tough week, a 0-4 loss at home to Man City in the Champions League and now a 1-0 away loss to PSV Eindhoven in the Dutch Eredivisie were Feyenoord’s first losses of 2017/18. After 5 league games Feyenoord find themselves joint top of the table on 12 points with AZ Alkmaar and PSV but leading the way due to a better goal difference.

Francois Zoko made the score level on 21 minutes before Yeovil Town finally succumbed away to Grimsby town in League 2. Yeovil now sit in 19th in the table whilst Grimsby who featured Nathan Clarke have climbed to 13th. Zoko has hit the net 5 times this season for the Glovers.

James Meredith helped keep a clean sheet as Millwall became the first team in 10 games to beat table toppers Leeds United. With form a bit patchy at the moment for the Lions, the slender 1-0 home win has lifted Millwall to 16th in the Championship.

Scott Loach helped Hartlepool United to a 1-2 away win at Leyton Orient making it 4 wins in their last 5 games. The remarkable turnaround has lifted the Pools to 15th in the National League after a start which saw 0 wins in their first 6 games.
